TEC Ambassador Program
The Technology Enabling Centre (TEC) is envisioned as a platform to enable, connect, and empower students and faculty to actively participate in innovation, research, and emerging technology ecosystems. While universities host a large pool of talent and ideas, there is often limited structured engagement with innovation initiatives, interdisciplinary collaboration, and national-level opportunities. To address this, TEC proposes the TEC Ambassador Program to build a strong engagement network across institutions.
Objective of the Program
The TEC Ambassador Program aims to:
Enhance student and faculty engagement in TEC initiatives
Promote a culture of innovation, creativity, and problem-solving
Facilitate exposure to emerging technologies and innovation ecosystems
Enable active participation in national programs, workshops, and innovation events
Build a collaborative network across universities
Role of TEC Ambassador (Faculty)
Each participating university will nominate one faculty member as the TEC Ambassador who will:
Act as a nodal coordinator between TEC and the institution
Promote TEC initiatives, programs, and opportunities among students and faculty
Encourage participation in innovation activities, challenges, and workshops
Organize awareness sessions, training programs, and innovation drives
Facilitate collaboration between students, faculty, and external experts
Support formation of student innovation groups and campus communities
Facilitate Act as a mentor and guide for student-led innovation activities
