๐๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ข๐๐ง๐๐, ๐๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง & ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐โ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ was inaugurated today at the State Convention Centre, Lok Seva Bhawan, Bhubaneswar.
Organised by Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster (BCKIC) Foundation, an initiative of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) to the Government of India, in association with the Commerce & Transport Department, Government of Odisha, the two-day summit brings together ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ to explore opportunities in sustainable ocean-based development.
The inaugural session featured addresses from Mrutyunjay Suar, PhD, Chairman, BCKIC Foundation, Shri NBS Rajput, IAS, Principal Secretary, Commerce & Transport Department, GoO, Dr. M. Ravichandran, Secretary, MoES, GoI, H.E. Karlito Nunes, Ambassador of Timor-Leste to India, and SmtAnu Garg, IAS, Chief Secretary, GoO, highlighting the importance of science, innovation, and policy collaboration in strengthening the blue economy.
During the session, the ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐๐๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐๐จ๐จ๐ค were released, and the Startup Showcasing Pavilion was inaugurated, showcasing innovative solutions for sustainable marine development.
The summit has attracted over 500 participants and will continue over the next two days with discussions on marine technology, fisheries, maritime infrastructure, coastal sustainability, and ocean innovation.
