Platform to crosstalk for a purpose: strengthening Industry-Academia interaction
DST-Technology Enabling Centre (DST_TEC) KIIT-DU at KIIT – Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology organized a day long Odisha TEC Conclave, an Industry-Academia meet. It was attended by various academic and R&D organisation of Odisha including industries Jindal Stainless, JSW, Aditya Birla Group , Tata Steel , ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth THE UTKAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY LTD and others. Participating industries have shared their problem statements and very keen in looking for affordable and scalable solutions from the academia and research organisations. Full of enthusiasm among all stakeholders to build strategic partnerships with a mandate for collaboration, cooperateion and convergence.
Dr Krishna Kanth Pulicherla, from Department of Science & Technology, Government of India presented the enabling factors in creating Industry-Academic partnerships. Prof. Saranjit Singh , Vice Chancellor of KIIT University emphasised on building strategic Industry -Academia partnerships for a purpose.
